Travis M. Schulte, 47, of Delphos, passed away Monday morning, August 16, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He was born May 18, 1974, in Lima, to Michael E. and Joyce A. (Perrin) Schulte, who both survive in Delphos. On June 30, 2021, he married Robin Mangas, she survives in Delphos.
Travis is also survived by two sons, Austin (Melissa) Schulte and Avery Schulte, both of Delphos; two step-sons, Ryley and Hunter Spangler, both of Leipsic; a step-daughter, Bella Jones of Delphos; a sister, Kari (Wayne) Kibbey of Chickamauga, GA; a niece, Chelsey (Nick) Davisson, a niece and nephew, Haley and Caden Kibbey, and a great-nephew, Eli Davisson. He is also survived by in-laws, Steve and Connie Mangas of Leipsic.
Travis had been working six years as a machinist at Machine Pro in Celina. He previously worked at Dana for over 20 years. He was a coach for his kids’ sports and enjoyed helping the boys with their fair projects. Family was precious to Travis. He enjoyed camping and campfires with the kids and family. He taught the boys how to work hard. They worked together building his house. He was a Chicago Bears fan. Most of all, Travis was a jokester, having a gift of making everyone smile and laugh. He was a very loving and caring husband.
A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
