Todd Lee Rode, 56, of Ft. Jennings passed away Wednesday morning, July 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 13, 1968 in Van Wert to Michael and Debra A. (Dancer) Rode who both survive in Delphos. On May 17, 2002 he married Sarah (Leiendecker) Rode who survives in Ft. Jennings.
Todd is also survived by a son, Todd J. Rode of Ft. Jennings; daughters, Samantha Rode, Alexandria Rode and Abigail Rode all of Ft. Jennings; siblings, Stacey (Alex) Benavidez of Delphos, Douglas (Betsy) Rode of Findlay and Kimberly (Harry) Hodgson of Delphos; grandchildren, Savannah and Shilee; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention who loved him dearly.
Todd had been a welder at Kill Brothers, material handler at Aeroquip from 1997-2002, and then went on to be a self-employed contractor for Rode’s Home Maintenance. His family was his top priority in life. He was a delegator of everything and the self-appointed “Mayor of Rushmore”. Todd loved NASCAR, Michigan Football and the Cincinnati Bengals. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 471, Delphos.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2024 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Pastor Steven Haddix will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Online condolences may be shared at weberfh.net.
