Obituary
Steve Cross, age 69, of Delphos passed away Thursday June 1, 2023 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s.
He was born October 30, 1953 in Lima to William Cross and Phyllis(Baird) Cross who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children; William(Tasha) Cross and Bryan Cross both of Delphos, Stephanie(Matthew) Stemen and Nicole Cross both of Wilmington, N.C. He has eight grandchildren, Skyler Bailey, Matisun Terronto, Philip Stemen, William Isaac, Keilik, and Malik Cross, Xander and Quinn Woolum and six great grandchildren. He is also survived his brother Jeff(Candace) Cross and sister Nancy(Mike) Elling both of Delphos and a sister in law Marlene Cross of Rimer and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Steve is also preceded in death by his brother David Cross and sister Carol Cross.
Steve starting working at Federal Mogul in Van Wert in 1972, right out of high school and worked there for 45 years retiring in 2017 as a Tool and Die maker.
It was his wish to be cremated. A private burial of his ashes will take place at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date. His arrangements were entrusted to Weber Funeral, Delphos. Donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
