DELPHOS – Rosa Anna Mox, 90 of Delphos, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at her daughter’s residence. She was born December 13, 1931 in Chickasaw, Ohio to the late Lorenz and Elizabeth (Bruggeman) Droesch. On October 1, 1960, she married Robert “Bob” Mox and he preceded her in death on September 19, 2000.
Rosa is survived by her two daughters, Karen (Thomas) Densel of Delphos and Sheila (Jeff) Brokenshire of Van Wert. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Nicholas (Kelly) Mox, Emily Oxley, Ryan (fiancée, Jenna DiBernardo) Densel, Curtis Wright and Justin Wright and three great-grandchildren, Noelle Oxley, Bennett Mox and Beckham Mox. In addition, she is survived by a sister, Barbara (Donald) Heitz and sister-in-law, Rosemary Droesch.
Rosa was preceded in death by five sons, Robert, Jr., Philip, Eugene, Allen and Scott; five brothers, Camillus (Dorothy) Droesch, Joseph (Leona) Droesch, Bernard (Lucille) Droesch, Andrew Droesch and Anthony (Mary) Droesch; and three sisters, Mathilda (Ray) Rutschilling, Monica (Andrew) Schoen and Cecelia (Donald) Gerdeman.
Mrs. Mox had been employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber and later was a child care provider. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was a 4-H advisor, Interfaith Thrift Shop volunteer, RCIA Team Leader and Delphos St. John’s School Festival volunteer. She was active in St. John’s Band Boosters and Delphos Midget Football.
Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 4, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 3 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the WEBER FUNERAL HOME 1840 E. Fifth Street Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m.
