Rev. Linda J. Wannemacher

Rev. Linda J. Wannemacher, 75, of Delphos passed away the afternoon of Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

She was born November 6, 1947, in Lima to Richard Osting and Rita (Kill) Osting who both preceded her in death. On November 5, 1966, she married Stanley “Jaye” Wannemacher who survives in Delphos.

She is also survived by her children, Terrie (Frank) Wisher of Delphos, Brion Wannemacher of Delphos, Scott (Shannon) Wannemacher of Franklin, Jacob (Ashley) Wannemacher of Ottoville, Timothy Wannemacher of Lima, Mark (Kelli) Wannemacher of Ottoville, Sparkle (Rashad) Holly of Delphos and Dravone Wannemacher of Delphos. Linda is also survived by 20 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her siblings, Scarlett (Del) Kemper, Richard Osting and Ben (Kim) Osting all of Delphos.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Daniel (Barb) Osting; and sister Mary Schramm.

Linda had been a beautician for six years and then a mother and homemaker raising her family, which included fostering 35 children, and was the bookkeeper for Jaye’s business and their church. As she was raising her family, she went to Bible College and became an ordained minister. She continued that ministry until October of 2022. She and Jaye also ran the Christian Bookstore in Delphos for six years.

Linda dearly loved her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed bird watching, her flowers and trips to Sauder Village in Archbold. Linda loved her Lord and Savior above all.

Friends may call on Monday, February 6 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St. from 2:00-7:00 p.m. and from 10:00 until service time Tuesday.

Linda’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, at Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Murphy officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice. Condolences may be shared at weberfh.net
