Rebecca ‘Becky’ Champ-Diemer, 70, of Delphos, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.
She was born November 18, 1952, in Lima to the late Robert and Emma (Oehler) Champ. She had been married to Leslie Diemer who preceded her in death June 15, 2022.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Crystal Champ-Rode of Delphos; step-children, Tina Eicholtz, Steve (Lydia) Diemer, Andrea (Chris) Smith, Kyle (Gloria) Diemer and Aaron Diemer; siblings, Jane Isabrandt, Bill Ogle, Janice Grant, Doris Stoner and John Monfort; five grandchildren, Jenna Rode, Emily Rode, Luke Rode, Derrick (Kylee) Eicholtz and Brittany (Lorenz) Ballard; two great-grandchildren, Kai Mays and Delaney Eicholtz; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Bob Ogle, Mike Ogle, Jimmy Slaven, JoEllen Slaven and Sonja Ogle.
Becky was a retired registered nurse, having worked at several area nursing homes and was an instructor at Brown Mackey in Findlay for many years, having retired from there.
She liked camping at Powell Creek, was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Her greatest joy in life were her grandkids, spending time with them and attending their sporting events.
A memorial visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to cover funeral expenses. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
