Patrick M. McCormick

Patrick M. McCormick, 73, of Delphos, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home. He was born June 20, 1947, in Lima to the late James and Rita (Brennan) McCormick. On January 29, 1977, he married Julie (Miller) McCormick who survives in Delphos. He is also survived by three sons, Ryan (Katie) McCormick of Ruston, LA, Scott (Kristie) McCormick, and Dan (Tina) McCormick, both of Delphos; a brother, James (Rose) McCormick of Seymour, IN; two sisters, Agnes Hempfling of Findlay, and Patricia McCormick of Lima; ten grandchildren, Ava, Mia, Landen, Hayes, Callen, Keller, Madden, Harlow, Caroline, and Rhett; and in-laws, Taffy (Bill) Speller of Chicago, Marcey (Tom) Brickner of Delphos, Sally (Roger) Pohlman of Delphos, Paul McHone of Columbus, IN, James Miller of Dearborn, MI, Mandy Miller of Delphos, and Cindy Miller of Cleveland. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Joe McCormick; parents-in-law, Clint and Rose Miller; a brother-in-law, Terry Hempfling; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Betsy Miller; and sister-in-law, Molly McHone. Pat was owner and operator of Martin Printing Company in Lima for almost 20 years. After he sold the print shop he drove for Wonder Bread Company for over 15 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Pat was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Eagles Aerie 471, and Delphos Country Club. He loved following his boys and grandkids in all their sports. He was an avid Notre Dame, Cubs and Blue Jay Fan, and golfer A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 28 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery. The funeral mass can be viewed live stream at www.delphosstjohnparish.org. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's School or St. Rita's Hospice.
