Nancy A. Sparks

COLUMBUS GROVE – Nancy Sparks, 68, died on November 24, 2022, at her home in Columbus Grove. She was born on January 22, 1954 to David F. and Elaine (Vorst) Schroeder. Her mother survives in Columbus Grove.

On Nov. 25, 1977, she married Jack Albright, who passed in 2005. She married Keith Sparks in April of 2009 who survives in Columbus Grove.

Nancy is survived by her two children Thomas Albright and Chip Albright and grandchildren Stella and Summit Albright. Nancy is also survived by Keith’s children; Heather (Dana) Koontz and their children Whitney, Kadin, Kenzie and a great grandchild Seth, Tim (Sara) Sparks and their children Marie and Cheyenne. Nancy is also survived by brothers Nick (Joan) Schroeder, Omer Schroeder, and Dave (Beth) Schroeder, sister Becky (Jim) Shaw, and a sister-in-law Shelly Schroeder along with many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Dave Schroeder, brother Max Schroeder, and sister-in-law Diane Schroeder.

Nancy was second in her 1972 graduating class of Columbus Grove High School. She was an employee with the Van Wert County Juvenile Courts for over 40 years. Nancy was an avid early history buff, and was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Nancy adored her grandkids and spending time with them. She was the queen of endless hours of facetime calls and family holiday parties. She also enjoyed spending time her family and friends.

Friends may call on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 2pm to 6pm at American Legion, Columbus Grove. Weber Funeral, Delphos, assisted the family with Nancy’s arrangements.
