Nancy L. Merschman, 64, of Delphos, passed away Monday evening, January 11, 2021, at The Meadows of Kalida. She was born May 27, 1956, in Lima to Harry and Velma (Kill) Hoersten, who both preceded her in death. On September 25, 1982, she married Harold Merschman, who survives in Delphos. Nancy is also survived by two brothers, David Hoersten, and Larry (Patricia) Hoersten, both of Delphos; two sisters, Margie (Douglas) McNeal of Delphos, and Janet Swift of Spencerville; four brothers-in-law, Tom (Kim) Merschman, Dave (Lisa) Merschman, Paul (Bonnie) Merschman, and Jim Merschman, all of Delphos; a sister-in-law, Barb (Rick) Burgei of Delphos; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Swift; and her in-laws, Sonny and Margaret Merschman. Nancy was a 1976 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School. She had worked 30 years as a nurses aide, retiring from Roselawn Manor in Spencerville. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and Delphos Eagles Aerie #471. Nancy enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and playing on her computer. She truly enjoyed her family, she was a very loving person. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Father Jerry Schetter will be officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ft. Jennings. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Friday, before the service at the funeral home.
