Mary Agnes (Kill) Bergfeld, age 89, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
She was born June 1, 1933 in Landeck to the late Linus R. and Francis L. (Goedde) Kill. On May 29, 1954 she married Claude A. Bergfeld who survives in Delphos.
Mary Agnes is survived by three sons, Steven (Chris) Bergfeld of Michigan, Charles (Lisa) Bergfeld of Delphos and Donald (Beth) Bergfeld of Delphos; two daughters, Nancy (Edward) Goedde of Lima and Linda Bergfeld of California; a brother, Howard L. (Paula) Kill of Florida; a sister, Yvonne (Ralph) Hemker of Florida; grandchildren, Michael (Hope) Bergfeld, Audrey (Phil) Lahti, Heather Bergfeld, Bart Bergfeld, Tyler (Tiffany) Bergfeld, Jordan (Makenzie) Bergfeld, Ryan (Stephanie) Reindel and Scott (Lauren) Goedde; and great-grandchildren Luca, Aria, and Gabriel Bergfeld, Grady Bergfeld, Benjamin Bergfeld, Mia and Izzy Reindel, Emmy Jayne, Parker and Carson Goedde.
Mary Agnes was the owner and manager of Delphos Fitness Center for 26 years. She was an inventory control clerk at Huffy Corp. from 1951-1956. She was a remarkable homemaker and also volunteered at the Interfaith Thrift Shop from 2005 to present. She was member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, graduating from St. John’s in 1951. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a former finance committee member.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 pm-7 pm on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Parish Foundation. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
