Mark L. Gedeon

Mark L. Gedeon, 62, of Delphos, passed away Saturday morning, February 20, 2021 at his home. He was born April 15, 1958, in Cleveland to Lawrence and Lois (Branch) Gedeon, who both preceded him in death. On May 28, 1977, he married Judy (Fisher) Gedeon, who survives in Delphos. Mark is also survived by a daughter, Melissa (Jason) Linton of Westerville; a son, Joseph (Lauren) Gedeon of LaGrange, KY; two sisters, Debbie Gedeon-Steinberger of Ada, and LuAnn Gedeon of Wyoming, Ohio; five grandchildren, Remington Linton, Broderick, Rowena, Gwendolyn, and Truett Brooks Gedeon; a niece, Lea Steinberger; a nephew, Thomas Steinberger; two sisters-in-law, Carol (Tim) Short, and Bev (Jim) Wittkamp; and two brothers-in-law, Mike (Kim) Fisher, and Jerry (Deb - deceased) Fisher. Mark had worked in sales for State Industrial Products, Kerns Ford, and most recently was a salesman for Share Corp. He was a 1976 graduate of Delphos St. John's, and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was also a very active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1362, where he was past Grand Knight. Mark enjoyed bowling on the Tuesday Night League and was a Cleveland Browns fan. Anyone who knew Mark knew they were in for a "long" animated story and a laugh. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service Friday, at the funeral home.
