Janice ‘Earlene’ Boberg, 84, of Lima, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s with her loving family at her side.
She was born April 2, 1937, in Depew, OK, to Earl and Edith (Hancomker) Anderson, who both preceded her in death. On June 1, 1952, she married Ron Boberg, who survives in Lima.

Earlene was retired after working 30 plus years at Findlay Industries as the manufacturing manager of the Botkins Division. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Delphos. She was instrumental in the new sign at the church; it was supposed to be started on September 10. Earlene grew the most beautiful flowers. She was a self-educated horticulturist, being blessed with a green thumb. She was an animal loving homebody. She loved being home caring for the farm. She enjoyed her weekly visits to the hairdresser, it became a ritual. Earlene was an avid rock collector, collected them on their many trips across the country. Their trips also included Germany, Israel, and Jordan; the most memorable trip was to the Holy Land. God was good to them, they were blessed.
