Janelle A. Friedrich

Janelle A. Friedrich, 84, of Delphos, went to be with the Lord on Monday evening, September 11, 2023 at Vancrest of Delphos.

She was born January 28, 1939, in Delphos to the late Edwin and Lauretta (Beckman) Kroeger. On May 9, 1959 she married John Friedrich who passed away September 23, 2009. They had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. On October 29, 2011 she married Edward Friedrich who survives in Delphos.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Aaron) Shouey of Saginaw, MI; sons, Paul Friedrich (Amy Ross), Jim (Diane) Friedrich and Bob Friedrich (Brittany Clevenger), all of Delphos; a son-in-law, Rob (Kathleen) Stant of Delphos; 12 grandchildren, Trisha Stant, Ashley (Adam Childers) Stant, Krystal (Thad) Carter, Jenna, Adam and Jesse Shouey, Hopelyn, Aubrey, Maisy, Boe Friedrich, Wyatt and Rubie Friedrich; two great-grandchildren, Jaiden Hall and Leighton Carter; step-children, Barbara (Dan) Kimmet, Marilyn (Don) Utrup, Dorothy Lyles, William (Denise) Friedrich and Kathy Rison; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Stant; a daughter-in-law, Jamie Friedrich; a brother, Gerard (Rosemary) (Judy) Kroeger; sisters, Lenore (Richard) Klausing and Mary (Ralph) Warnecke, and an infant sister; a grandchild, Andrew Shouey; and a great-grandchild, Nazarene Leach.

Janelle was a graduate of Delphos St. John’s class of 1957 and Frederick’s Beauty Academy. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, painting ceramics, flower gardening and doing word find puzzles.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John’s Parish Foundation or Middle Point EMS.  Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
