Gerald ‘Jerry’ Suever, 66, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday morning, June 15, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana.
He was born March 25, 1955, in Landeck, to Herman M. and Rowena A. (Hesseling) Suever, who both preceded him in death. On August 21, 1976, he married Rhonda (Granger) Suever, who survives in Delphos.
Jerry is also survived by a daughter, Elaine Suever of Delphos; a brother, Norbert ‘Piney’ (Rita) Suever of Landeck; a sister, Dorothy Hedrick of Delphos; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a father-in-law, Ralph Granger; and two brothers-in-law, David Hedrick, and Rick Granger.
Jerry retired in 2019 after 30 years from Honda in Anna. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing cards, poker and euchre; and was an OSU and Browns fan. Jerry was a loving husband and a family man.
A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 19 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Visitation will also be for one hour prior to the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
