Gerald O. ‘Jerry’ Hoehn, Sr., 86, of Delphos, passed away early Monday morning, March 13, 2023 at his son’s home.
He was born October 6, 1936, in Lima to the late Joseph and Regina Hoehn. He was married to Shirley (Andrews-Etzkorn) Hoehn who survives in Delphos.
Jerry is also survived by his sons, Jerry Hoehn, Jr. of Medina, Roger (Colleen) Hoehn of Van Wert and Roy (Lisa) Hoehn of Lower Salem; a daughter, Polly Brinkman (Thomas Ridenour) of Lower Salem; and stepchildren, Leonard Etzkorn, Larry (Sherri) Etzkorn, Mark (Karen) Etzkorn, Nancy (Kevin) Dukes, Alan (Shandi) Etzkorn and Steve Etzkorn. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter, Natasha Rene Hoehn.
Jerry had been a self-employed contractor and then owned Hoehn’s Party Shop in the mid-eighties for 15 plus years and then sold it to his nephew Bill Bellmann. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting and fishing. Jerry was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed westerns on tv.
A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Ottoville.
Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net
