He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos.  Gary loved to build things in his workshop and give them away to family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Terri & Allan Christensen, Mike & Connie Sroufe, his grandchildren, Heidi Christensen & Ryan Koch, Erik M. Christensen, Alex & Lauren Sroufe, Katie Sroufe & fiancé Connor Wechter, great grandchildren, Analise Koch & Morgan Sroufe.  He is also survived by his brother, Paul “Nub” & Kay Sroufe, sister, Carol Spring, brother-in-law James Watson and countless nieces, nephews, family and friends.  He was preceded in death by one grandson, Joshua Deaton and his sisters, Linda Stemen, Kathy Watson & Marilyn Holdgreve.
