David R. Wagner Sr., 77, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born September 19, 1944, in Delphos to the late Frank and June (Sarber) Wagner.
David is survived by two sons, David R. (Sarah) Wagner Jr. of Delphos, and Matthew E. Wagner of Leipsic; two daughters, Michelle L. (Bill) Farler of Delphos and Mary A. (John) Sinsel of Philippi, WV; grandchildren, Jammie Farler, Samantha Farler, Madison Farler, Kaley Martin, Paige Newman, Brayden Wagner, Carter Wagner, Alexis Wagner, Deacon Wagner, Landen Wagner, Olivia Wagner and Liam Wagner; and a great-granddaughter, Riley Martin.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jodi L. Wagner; brothers, Richard Wagner, Fred Wagner and Jimmy Wagner; and a sister, Gloria Hubbard.
Dave had worked as a maintenance man, woodworker and truck driver. He was a member of Orioles Fraternal Order, Lima. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family when he was younger. He was a very talented carpenter, it was amazing what he could build. He could fix about anything that needed fixed, especially good at repairing electrical things. Dave loved talking on his ham radio and was able to communicate with people all around the world.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
