She is survived by three daughters, Linda (Pat) Krendl of Cridersville, Rhonda (Jay) Hager of Spencerville and Brenda (Matt) Kimmett of Delphos; a brother, Carl Kershner of Dayton; six grandchildren, Leslie (Paul) Pruden, Andrea (Tom) Ricchiuto, Steven (Chelsea) Hager, Adrian, Zachary (Yvonia) and Eli Kimmett; and six great-grandchildren, Sarah and Megan Vogt, Stella Hager, Teddy and Tommy Kimmett and Luca Ricchiuto, two step-great-grandchildren, Nathan and Braxton Pruden; two bonus great-grandchildren, Bentley and Lilly; one great-grear-granddaughter, Josie; one step-great-great-grandson, Beckett; and one bonus great-great-granddaughter, Aurora.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan Euvrard.
Cathie was a homemaker that raised three wonderful daughters. Cathie and Ron enjoyed many motorcycle vacation adventures with their group of friends, traveling from the Smokies to out West. She was a talented seamstress making her girls’ clothing, custom shirts for her husband, Barbie Doll clothing and prom dresses. Cathie was a Girl Scout leader who would ensure her troops had the best experiences camping, putting on plays and earning badges. Many may remember Cathie buzzing around Delphos in her British Racing Green 1967 Triumph Spitfire Convertible. Cathie sold Avon in Delphos for five years and loved the opportunity to meet and make many acquaintances and friends. As her children moved out of state, Cathie loved to travel to see the kids and grandkids. Cathie was also an accomplished pianist. Her girls have fond memories singing Christmas songs as a family around the piano and of being lulled to sleep at night as their mother played.
