Catherine "Cathy" Kramer

FORT JENNINGS – Catherine J. ‘Cathy” Kramer, 73, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Fort Jennings on Thursday, June 24, 2021.  She was born October 14, 1947 to William and Leona (Landwehr) Fisher who both preceded her in death.  On August 25, 1967 she married Paul J. Kramer and together they had two sons; Thomas (Michele) of Mayfield Heights, OH and John (Julie) of Delphos.

In addition to her sons, she is survived by her sister, Connie Askins of Delphos; brother-in-law, Michael Kramer of Indian Lake; five grandchildren, Nickolas (Alana Russell) Kramer, Kecia (Conner) Hill, Deanna Kramer, Kelli Kramer, Kevin (Danielle Dancer) Kramer; two nieces, Carrie Askins, Heather(Michael) Scott and nephew, Michael (Sarah) Kramer Jr.

Cathy had a passion for life as she loved going to the Wetzelland motorcycle rallies with her husband, Paul.  She was a nurse aide for 25 years at Sarah Jane Nursing Home.  In her down time she liked to crochet afghans and baby blankets for her family and friends.  When she wasn’t crocheting she enjoyed watching TV and swimming at the Delphos Community Pool.  Rock concerts were also on her list of favorite things to do but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren whenever possible. 

It was Cathy’s wish to be cremated.  Visitation will be from 1:00 pm till 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 27 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos, where an Eagles Auxiliary memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm, followed by a VFW service at 5:45 pm.  Following visitation the family is inviting friends and neighbors to the Eagles for a meal and sharing memories of Cathy.  Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite humane society or the Ronald McDonald House.
