Carl E. Gasser, 66, of Delphos, passed away unexpectedly December 2, 2021, at Mercy Health, Lima, surrounded by his family.
Carl was born September 17, 1955, to the late Carl C. and Bertha (Kemper) Gasser. On July 23, 1977, he married the love of his life, Marsha (McKee) Gasser who survives, along with a daughter, Christi (Chad) Wiechart and two granddaughters, Kaylei & Jessica. He is also survived by a sister, Genevieve German; two brothers, Thomas (Martha) Gasser and Stanley (Kathi) Gasser; a brother- in- law, John Sheeter; sisters- in- law, Therese Gasser and Tina (Paul Krouse) McKee; and many nephews and nieces.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, James Gasser; sister, Ruth Sheeter; brother- in- law, Richard German; father- in-law, Wendell (Mac) McKee; mother- in- law, Isabel (Ralph) Kramer; and nephew Mike Gasser.
Carl was a kind, generous and very humble man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had worked construction since he was a young man and retired from Ulm’s Inc. After retirement, he was able to follow his passion for woodworking full-time. Carl was loved by children and adults around the area for his wonderful wood toys and plaques.
Following Carl’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time. Burial of cremated remains will be held privately at a later date.
