William H. Culver, age 82, of Venedocia and Howell, Michigan passed away September 10, 2025 at The Meadows of Delphos.
He was born July 16, 1943 in Howell Michigan to Howard W. Culver and Dorothy (Brockway) Culver who both preceded him in death. On November 13, 2021 he married Barbara (Courtney) Culver and she survives in Venedocia.
He is survived a son; Chuck (Carmen) Culver of Howell Michigan, grandson; Mat. Barbara’s children; Sean Poling, Heather (Kevin) Matthews, Ian Good, Colin Good, and Meghan (Michael) Lionez as well as her 9 grandchildren, also his special friends Jane and Jim Irvin.
He was preceded in death by his son John A. Culver, and Barbara’s sons Brendan and Brian Poling.
William worked for Ford Motor Company for 40 years, lastly in quality control. He was a Ham Radio operator in his earlier days. He loved to travel in his motorhome and went south in the winter after retirement. He enjoyed going to Sault Ste. Marie watching freighters going through the locks, the activity he loved most after retirement. He also loved to feed the blue birds around his property in Michigan; he whistled and then they would come to eat the seed.
It was William’s wish to be cremated, with a service at a later date.
Arrangement are being handled by Weber Funeral Home in Delphos.
