Vivian L. Adams

DELPHOS - Vivian L. Adams, age 85, of Delphos, passed away Thursday July 16, 2026 at the Meadows of Delphos.

She was born February 10, 1941 in Delphos to Arthur J. and Mary B. (Ricker) Bonifas, who both preceded her in death. On November 28, 1963 she married Rex E. ‘Tiny” Adams who preceded her in death on February 25, 2006.

She is survived by her brother, Joseph A. (Mary) Bonifas of Spencerville; and her sister, Elaine Ladd of Toledo; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces great-nephews and a great-great-nephew; sisters-in-law, Myrna Bolenbaugh of Ohio City; Diane Hageman of Middle Point and Dawn Adams of Van Wert; and her brother-in-law, Randy (Colleen) Adams of Lima.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Beverly A. Schlagbaum, and brother-in-law, Dick Schlagbaum; sisters-in-law, Mary Adams, Marcia Adams and Maxine (Dan) Smith; and two brothers-in-law, Dean Adams and Roger Hageman.

Vivian retired from Sprint Telephone after 30 years and from Morris Chiropractic after 10 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was also a member of Lima Telephone and Telegraph Pioneers and volunteered at the Thrift Shop. Since 1988, Vivian enjoyed weaving baskets. Examples of her artistry can be found across the United States.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. A luncheon and Celebration of Life will be held at the Delphos Eagles Aerie #471 following the burial.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 6:00 PM.
