Trent Alan Closson

Trent Alan Closson, 20, of Delphos, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at his home. His Family.... He was born July 3, 1997 in Lima to Anthony and Sharon Closson, who survive in Delphos. He is also survived by a sister, Sara Closson of Delphos, girlfriend, Madison Fulk of Delphos; maternal grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Metzger of Delphos; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; many friends; and his dog Max. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roger and Anna Jayne Closson. His Legacy.... In 2016 Trent earned the rank of Eagle Scout and graduated from Delphos St. John's. He just completed his first year at Ball State University majoring in Chemistry. Trent had a passion for science and the love of learning. He enjoyed doing research in the lab at Ball State, being selected to be involved with Ball State's Chemistry Research Immersion Summer Program. He gave his all at everything he did, was a free spirit, always thinking of others and loved making people happy and making them laugh. Trent is finally at peace. His Farewell Services.... Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. Dennis Walsh officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Delphos St. John's Science Department or to Ball State Chemistry Department.
