Terry T. Martin

Terry T. Martin, 69, of Delphos, passed away Wednesday morning, March 13, 2024 at Mercy Health St Rita’s.

He was born December 21, 1954, in Lima to Albert H. and Helen (Heising) Martin, who both preceded him in death. On February 28, 1981, he married Karen L. (Minnig) Martin, who survives in Delphos.

Terry is survived by two sons, Kevin (Stacy) Martin of Delphos, and Chad (Tiffany) Martin of Mentor; two sisters, Joyce Ellerbrock and Gloria Ellerbrock, both of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Rileigh, Sophia and Korbin Martin; a brother-in-law, Don Price of Waldron, MI; and a sister-in-law, Rita Martin of Delphos.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, John A. Martin; sister, Ruth Price; and two brothers-in-law, Ralph Ellerbrock and Norbert Ellerbrock.

Terry was a 1974 graduate of Delphos St. John’s. He retired from Vanamatic after 37 years, where he was an inspector. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where he volunteered as a greeter at the 7:30 a.m. service. He was a member of Delphos Eagles Aerie 471. Terry loved to work with wood crafts, helping area farmers bale hay and going to the casino. Above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and grandpups, Chewie and Lil Mongo.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday with a parish wake service held at 7:00 p.m.; and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday before the funeral at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen County Food Pantry.
