Steven M. Jack

Steven M. Jack, 69, of Gomer, passed away suddenly on January 18, 2026.

He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on December 11, 1956 to the late Robert and Loretta (Derringer) Jack. He married Claudia (Straube) Jack on September 26, 2018, who survives in Gomer.

Steve lived a life marked by hard work, devotion, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He retired from AEP after a long and committed career and was a proud lifetime member of the Eagles. A true outdoorsman at heart, Steve found peace and happiness in nature – whether hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty around him. Steve loved to cook and was excellent at it.

Additional survivors include his stepmother, Joan Jack; son, Adam (Jesse) Jack; daughter, Amanda Thomas; stepdaughters, Steffanie (Brent) Kersh, and Nicole (Andrew) Kelly; sister, Laurie Jack; eleven cherished grandchildren; and his two beloved dogs, Levi and Wrangler.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Ellen Jack.

He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 Friday, January 23, 2026 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Immediately following will be a celebration of his life at the Delphos Eagles. All will be invited to share. Memorial contributions may be made to Delphos Eagles Aerie 471.
