Stephen M. Gordon, age 63, of Convoy, passed away Saturday February 28, 2026 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 27, 1962 to Thomas and Leann (Weger) Gordon in Lima Ohio, both have preceded him in death.
It is with deep sorrow that we are announcing the sudden passing of our beloved father, brother, cousin and friend, Steve. He was taken from us too soon, leaving behind a void that can never truly be filled.
Steve is survived by sons, Kevin, Andrew (Mandy) Gordon and Anthony; grandson, Thomas. His love for his boys and his grandson was evident in everything he did, and his legacy will live on through them.
Steve will be remembered for his deep love of fishing and hunting, and for his gift of “shooting the breeze” with just about anyone he met. He had a way of turning simple conversations into lasting friendships. Some of his happiest moments were spent gathered with friend and family, sharing stories over a meal, especially when it featured fish he had just caught himself. Steve was, without question, the king of fish fries, bringing people together with his generous spirit and unmatched cooking skills.
He was incredibly talented when it came to fabricating and building devices for his trucks and trailers. There wasn’t much he could not fix or improve with his hands and a little ingenuity. His creativity and craftsmanship were a source of pride and admiration to all who knew him.
Steve will be deeply missed by all who have the privilege of knowing him. Though he was taken too soon, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday March 7, 2026 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m., Pastor John Kellogg to officiate.
