Sharon L. Mcdonough

DELPHOS-Sharon L. McDonough, 81, of Delphos, passed away Thursday, February 4, at Van Crest of Delphos. On June 27, 1959 she married William McDonough. Sharon was born September 12, 1939 in Putnam County to Harold S. and Helen M. (Boggs) Turner. She is survived by her spouse, William of Delphos; two daughters, Kim McDonough of Delphos and Joan (Bob) Broecker of Lima; two grandchildren, Christopher and Shawn D. (Sarah) Broecker; one great grandchild Cleat P.N. Broecker; and two sisters-in-law, Linda Turner and Linda Nicholson. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Helen Turner; and two brothers Pat and Ron Turner. Sharon was a member of St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church. She had been a girl scout leader where she served as neighborhood chairwoman. For many years, Sharon was a faithful volunteer at St. John's school. In 1998, she retired from Time Warner Cable. For the past 20 years, she and her husband spent their winters in Florida. There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Weber Funeral Home, 140 E. Fifth St. in Delphos. On line condolences can be sent to weberfh.net.
