Sara A. Rayman

Sara A. Rayman, 73, of Delphos, passed away Sunday morning, November 28, 2021 at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s.

She was born December 31, 1947, in Putnam County to Jean and Marguerite (Sheidler) Morgret, who both preceded her in death. On June 18, 1966, she married Thomas E. 'Tom' Rayman, who survives in Delphos.

Sara is also survived by her daughters, April Rayman of Van Wert and Amy (Kevin Brinkman) Mercer of Ft. Jennings; brothers, Lewis (Diane) Morgret of California and Paul (‘Duffy’) Morgret of Lima; a sister, Kathy Morgret of Georgia; sister-in-law, Dale Morgret of Virginia; and her grandchildren, Christopher (Cassie) Bloom, Alex and Natalie Rayman, Gage (Lakin Stevenson) Mercer and Avery (Julian Trejo) Mercer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, JoAnne Jiminize; and brothers, Bruce Morgret and John Morgret.

Sara worked at Rite Aid in Van Wert and Delphos, Meijer and T.J. Maxx in customer service for many years. She and Tom had the Lima News Agency for Delphos from 1978-1986. They enjoyed all the carriers coming to pick up their papers. Sara liked her flowers and house plants, canning, vacationing with her sister JoAnne, family events and reunions. She loved earrings, she would want everyone to know … "if you like them, buy them". She and Tom enjoyed car shows and Cushman motor scooters. Tom made sure she had her own scooter. Sara dearly loved her grandkids and spending time with them.

A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Rev. Charles Obinwa will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, and 9:00-10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Allen County Humane Society.  Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
