Ronald Joseph, of Delphos, passed away Monday morning, April 7, 2025 at home with his family by his side.

He was born October 14, 1945, to John W. and Mary I. (Lindeman) Joseph who both preceded him in death. On July 26, 1969, he married Luwana (Teman) Joseph who preceded him in death September 26, 2021.

Ron is survived by his children, Bill (Lisa Horton) Joseph of Lima and Ginger (Dave) Stemen of Delphos; grandchildren, Will (Holly) Joseph of Delphos, AJ (Dustin) Reed of Kentucky, Christian “Munch” (Leah), Zach and Josie Stemen of Delphos and Cambron Gossard of Lima; great-grandchildren, Shaelyn and Hunter Joseph of Delphos, Olivia and Daniel Reed of Kentucky, Millie Stemen of Delphos, and Demi Miller of Lima; a sister, Barbara J. Shorts; and father-in-law, William ‘Bill’ Teman of Delphos. He is also survived by his “bonus family”, Tami Reed, Dom Boughan, Akira and Jase Ellis.

He was also preceded in death by siblings, John L. Joseph, Ruth A. Slate, Richard E. Joseph, James W. Joseph, Bonnie S. Fockler, Janis E. VanVlerah, Roger L. Joseph, and Mona Kay Aldrich.

Ron attended Delphos Jefferson High School. He was drafted and proudly served in the United States Army serving in Korea. Ron retired from GM Powertrain Defiance Foundry in 1991. After retirement he attended Apollo Career Center receiving his electrician’s certificate. Multiple homes and businesses in Delphos were wired by his side job. He enjoyed working part-time for 18 years at AutoZone in Delphos. He was a member of Delphos VFW, American Legion and the Delphos Eagles. Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he was their biggest fan. He enjoyed fishing, sprint car racing, socializing and scratching off lottery tickets.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday April 11, at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery with graveside military honors conducted by the Delphos Veterans Council.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
