Ronald E. Brenneman

DELPHOS – Ronald E. Brenneman, 79, of Delphos, passed away early Sunday morning, June 6, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Delphos on December 26, 1941, to Carroll E. and Helen L. (Jones) Brenneman, who both preceded him in death. On September 14, 1964, he married Joyce (Strayer) Brenneman, who survives in Delphos.

Ron is survived by three siblings, Louise (Gary) Sroufe of Delphos, Janet R. Mason of Frankfort, IN, and Jeff (Lori) Brenneman of Delphos; a brother-in-law, George Mox of Delphos; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda J. Mox; and a brother-in-law, Dick Mason.

Ron was a 1959 graduate of Delphos Jefferson, and served three years in the United States Army, being stationed in Germany most of the time. He retired after 36 years from the Allen County Engineers Office, working as a supervisor of a bridge building crew. After retirement, he delivered farm equipment for H.G. Violet Implement.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8 at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos.
