Roger L. Fuller

Roger L. Fuller, 76, of Delphos, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Vancrest of Delphos.

He was born October 5, 1944, in Lima, to Doyle V. and Helen P. (Tegenkamp) Fuller, who both preceded him in death.

Roger is survived by two sisters, his twin, Marsha P. Mueller and Sharon Kay Fuller, both of Delphos; nephews, Edward ‘Ed’ (Ann Ahrns) Mueller of St. Marys, Michael (Sara Wise) Mueller of Van Wert, and Matthew (Chasity Siefker) Mueller of Lima; great nieces and nephews, Taylor Mueller, Joel Mueller, Corabel Mueller, Brayden Siefker, Blake Ahrns, Vanessa Schwartz, Greg Ahrns, Caleb Wise, Hallie Wise and Meagan Jacob.

He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert J. Mueller; and a great-nephew, Derrick Mueller.

Roger was a graduate of Delphos St. John’s. Before going on to college, he had worked at Fruehauf and Delphos Can Factory. In 1966 he graduated from Northwest School of Commerce with a diploma in Business Administration. In 1982 He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bluffton College. He retired in 2010 as a business manager at St. Rita’s Medical Center, having worked there for 44 years. Roger was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos Kiwanis Club, Delphos Eagles Aerie #471, Delphos VFW Post 3035. He was also involved with Boy Scouts of America for many years, and held membership at Blackswamp Gun and Pistol Club. He enjoyed car shows, especially 1970 models Grand Am GT’s. Roger loved sports, especially St. John’s Blue Jays, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Browns.

Roger liked to travel, his favorite places being Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. He enjoyed Biking, fishing, hunting, hiking and camping. Roger cherished spending time with family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Burial will be at a later date in St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Delphos Kiwanis Club or the American Liver Foundation.
