Robert E. Keeling Jr., 73, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s.

He was born February 5, 1949, in Lima to the late Robert E. and Ruth Leona (Feathers) Keeling Sr. On September 20, 1969, he married Rena Sue (Bohn) Keeling who passed away May 30, 2022.

Bob is survived by a son, John Keeling of Delphos; daughter, Kimberly Bowersox of Delphos; brothers, Ken Keeling and Kevin Keeling both of Delphos; a sister, Susan Osenga of Delphos; grandchildren, Alyssa Keeling, Brice Keeling, Andrew (Melinda) Keeling and Hunter Bowersox; great-grandchildren, Skylor, Jackson, Weston, Hallie, Brayden, Devan, Nova, Reilee and Paxton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Ruth Keeling Sr.; a brother, Ronald Keeling; sisters Connie (Dick) Truesdale and Carla (Tim) Grothouse; and a brother-in-law, Joe Osenga.

Bob was a 1968 graduate of Delphos Jefferson. He worked as a laborer through Local 329 for many years, retiring after 30 years in 2006. Bob loved drag racing at the Wayne Trail Dragway near Middle Point. The Chevy Nova was his favorite car.

A gathering of family and friends to remember Bob and Rena will be 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
