Robert "Bob" J. Mueller

Robert "Bob" J. Mueller, age 70, of Delphos, passed away Thursday evening, June 18, 2015, at The CHP Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family. His Family.... He was born January 24, 1945 in Lima to Richard C. and Gertrude L. (Fischer) Mueller. On June 20, 1969, he married Marsha P. (Fuller) Mueller. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Marsha P. Mueller of Delphos; three sons, Edward "Ed" Mueller (Ann Ahrns) of St. Mary's, Ohio, Michael Mueller (Sara Wise) of Delphos, and Matthew (Chasity) Mueller of Delphos; seven grandchildren, Taylor Mueller, Joel Mueller, Corabel Mueller, Brayden Siefker, Blake Ahrns, Vanessa Ahrns, and Greg Ahrns; two brothers, Arthur Mueller and Nicholas (Mary) Mueller; three sisters, Sister Mary Gertrude Ann, SND, Joan (Dennis) Miller, and MaryAnn Mueller (Diana Travis); a brother-in-law, Roger Fuller and a sister-in-law, Sharon Fuller. Bob was also preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Derrick Mueller; two brothers, Tom Mueller and Brother Carl Mueller, C.PP.S His Legacy.... Bob retired as plant supervisor from the Delphos Bending Company/Orbitron. He also worked for Phillips in Ottawa. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharist Minister, Usher, and working Bingo on Wednesdays and Saturdays. He was also a member of the Delphos Eagles Aerie 471 and Delphos Kiwanis Club. His Farewell Services.... Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos with Father Dennis Walsh, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in St. John's Cemetery, Delphos. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Strayer Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Parish Foundation or Sisters of Notre Dame, or American Cancer Society.
