Robert P. Geier

Robert P. Geier, 87, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Hospice of the Valley in Chandler, Arizona. His Family.... He was born December 23, 1928 in Delphos to the late Paul and Sila (Robinson) Geier. On September 2, 1950 he married Claire (White) Geier who preceded him in death on March 1, 1989. On October 23, 1993 he married Mary Lou (Fischer) Clement-Geier who survives in Delphos. He is also survived by his family, Tom (Deb) Geier and Mark Geier, both of Delphos, Kathy (Joe) Smithberger of Canton, Lisa (Dave) Ebbeskotte of Ft. Wayne, IN, Mark (Chris) Clement of Delphos and Kevin "KC" (Lynette Cardoch) Clement of Denver, CO; daughter-in-law, Rene Geier of Sidney; Grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Geier, Chad (Jen) Geier, Matt Dodds, Tim Geier, Mike Geier, Andy Geier, Adam Smithberger, Tara Smithberger, Trey Smithberger, Jack Smithberger, Justin Ebbeskotte, Dan Ebbeskotte, Megan Ebbeskotte, Michelle Geier, Heather Geier, Gwen Geier, Tonya Geier, Brooke (Ryan) Schwieterman and Mike (Mandi) Clement; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Rose Williams of Ottawa. He was also preceded in death by a son, Tim Geier; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Geier; in-laws, Rev. Paul White CPPS, Joe and Grace White, Rita White, Jane and Ray Weber and Dewey Williams. His Legacy.... Bob was owner of Geier Aluminum. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 1362. After retirement he loved spending time at his home in Arizona. His two passions in Arizona were playing shuffleboard and attending vintage car shows. His Farewell Services.... Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. Daniel Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Knights of Columbus Service will begin at 7:30 pm.., followed by a Parish Wake Service.
