Phillip A. Cramer 86, of Ottawa, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 23, 2025. He was born on April 24, 1939, and raised in Delphos, Ohio to Harry and Marguerite (Ulm) Cramer. As a young man, Phil was an avid Boy Scout and delivered newspapers for the Delphos Herald, Lima News, and Toledo Blade. He graduated from Delphos St. John’s high school. Most Ottawa people knew Phil from the downtown paint store he managed for 37 years.
Phil was married to Barbara Shaner and they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. Phil’s second love was for vintage cars and their restoration. He frequently was seen driving his 1938 Chevy Master Deluxe Hot-Rod.
Phil was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents Harry and Marguerite Cramer, brothers; Charles, Carroll, Larry, Dan, Jack, sisters; Marilyn and Mary Lou. He is survived by his sister, Jane (Tom) Livingston and son Michael (Pam) Cramer and numerous nieces and nephews. Phil has left us with many good memories and humerous stories to cherish and we will miss him dearly.
