Norma Jean Anspach

Norma Jean Anspach, 94, of Delphos, passed away Monday morning, January 13, 2025 at The Meadows of Delphos surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 27, 1930 in Pandora to Harry Noble Van Scoder and Caroline T. Schumacker who both preceded her in death. On May 22, 1948 she married Donovan Anspach who preceded her in death January 1, 1986.

Norma Jean is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Cynthia) Anspach of Kalida and Donovan G. (Megan) Anspach of Delphos; three daughters, Karen (Dennis) Patterson of Ft. Wayne, IN, Diana Roeder and Ruth (Chuck) Verhoff both of Delphos; a son-in-law, Al Haunhorst of Lima; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and 1 on the way.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly J. Haunhorst; three sisters; one brother; and a son-in-law, Ronald Roeder II.

Norma Jean spent time crocheting and gardening flowers. She enjoyed the outdoors, cooking and eating out with family and friends.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Dr. David A. Baillie will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be shared at weberfh.net.
