Mary Jane Landwehr

Mary Jane Landwehr, 83, of Ft. Jennings passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at her home. She was born March 15, 1935, in Ft. Jennings to the late Leo and Dorothy (Helmkamp) Warnecke. On November 27, 1954 she married Charles J. Landwehr Jr. who preceded her in death on August 25, 2006. She is survived by five children, Joyce (Bob) Brubaker of Hamler, and Sharon (Jerry) Barnhart of Cloverdale, Janice (Dan) Wilhelm of New Bavaria, Ron (Barb) Landwehr of Delphos, and Tony (Verna) Landwehr of Van Wert; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Landwehr; and two brothers, Eugene Warnecke, and Leonard Warnecke. Mary Jane was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her and Charles were lifetime farmers. She was an OSU and Cincinnati Reds baseball fan. She enjoyed reading, bowling, and attending Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ft. Jennings with Rev. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 1:30 p.m.; and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, St. Joseph Catholic Church, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
