Martha M. Mansfield

Martha M. "Marty" Mansfield, 61, of Delphos, died at 12:46 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, in Hospice of Lima Memorial Health System. She was born Aug. 4, 1955, in Lima, to James F. and Margie M. (Miller) Bertling who preceded her in death. On July 31, 1976, she married Stephen J. Mansfield who survives. Also surviving are her children: Stephanie Mansfield and Mark Mansfield both of Delphos, Meredith (Ryan) Warnecke of Delaware and Barbara (Zack) Meleg of Columbus; three grandchildren: Evan and Andrew Warnecke and Grayson Meleg; siblings: Chuck Bertling of Bangkok, Thailand, Jane (Gary) Houg of Van Wert, Betty (Gary) Dilworth of Delphos, Tom (Priscilla) Bertling of Scottsdale, AZ, Jack (Cindy) Bertling , Glenn (Julie) Bertling and Anne (Rob) Watkins all of Delphos, and James "Buddy" (Marcy) Bertling, Jr. of Lompoc, CA. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, George Bertling and Daniel Bertling, and sister, Terry Bertling. Marty was the Director of Managed Care at Lima Memorial Health System, where she was employed for thirty-five years. She was a 1973 graduate of Delphos St. John's High School, where she was the first female president of Student Council and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Delphos Optimist, Health Care Finance Administration (HFMA) and Wine of the Week Club. She loved shopping, but loved her children and grandchildren the most. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8 p.m., at Weber Funeral Home, Delphos.
