Marsha Kay Carpenter

Marsha K. (Rodgers) Carpenter, 83, of Delphos, joined her Lord and Savior Monday morning, August 31, 2026 at Vancrest of Delphos surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 24, 1943 in Zanesville to Clarence K. ‘Jigs’ and Phyllis D. (Hall) Rodgers who both preceded her in death.

Marsha is survived by a son, Greg Gossman of Delphos; daughters, Julane (Jeff) Stockwell of Delphos, and Jacquie (Kent) Prichard of Van Wert; and a brother, John (Diane) Rodgers of Crooksville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jacob (Grace) York of McArthur, Spencer (Kenzie) Prichard of Hamilton, Trenton (Emily) Gossman of East Lansing, MI, Trey (Casey) Gossman of Grand Rapids, MI, Kara Gossman of Columbus, Rileigh (Alex) Young of Delphos, and Jace (Nicole) Stockwell of Delphos; and great-grandchildren, Owen, Aceyn, Nash, Ruby, Sadie, Cash, Elliott, Declan and a great-grandson on the way; as well as a niece, Venus (Emanuel) Morrison of Columbus.

Marsha was a 1961 graduate of Crooksville High School. She was a member of Delphos Trinity Methodist Church. She loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and had many special friends at Vancrest Assisted Living. She loved going to all of the grandchildren’s special events and activities. Marsha loved watching Ohio State Football with a special friend, Tom.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-12 noon on Monday, September 7 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. A memorial service will begin at 12 noon, immediately followed by a celebration of Marsha’s life at The Delphos Eagles.
