Marlene A. Brand

Marlene A. Brand, 66 of Delphos, passed away Thursday, Sept 25, 2025 at the James Cancer Center in Columbus.  She was born January 10, 1959 in Lima to Thomas and Joan (Westrick) Suever and they preceded her in death.  She was married to Harry “Sonny” Brand on October 12, 1984, Sonny passed away December 13, 2005.

Marlene is survived by her children, Grant (Amanda) Brand of Delphos and Colin (Josie) Brand of Landeck, her stepdaughter, Mindy Brand of Sturgis, Michigan.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lilly, Theo, Charlie and Ruby; her step grandsons, Damian and Dylan Brand, and three step great grandchildren.  Her siblings surviving include, Michael Suever of North Hills, California, Vicki Richards of Landeck, Ohio and Chris Minning of St. Joseph, Michigan. Marlene was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Bruce Richards and her stepfather, Lou Minning.

Marlene was known as an amazing cook, whose doors were always open to family and to her children’s friends even when the boys were in high school. She was an animal lover, a member of the Delphos VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved hosting the family holiday gatherings.  Marlene was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and wonderful friend to all who knew her! She will be missed by many.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service time at the Weber Funeral Home and the Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.
