Mark A. Brandehoff

Mark A. Brandehoff, 61, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at his home. His Family.... He was born April 7, 1956 in Lima to Romus S. and Carolyn (Dukes) Brandehoff, who both preceded him in death. He is survived by a brother, Todd (Mary) Brandehoff of Orlando, Florida; three sisters, Susan Brandehoff of Chicago, Janet (Kenneth) Tomas of Warm Mineral Springs, Florida, and Laurel Baerveldt (Larry Pettigrew) of Sarasota, Florida; two nieces, Alexandra and Emmelia; and a nephew, Ty, all of Orlando, Florida. His Legacy.... Mark was an avid outdoorsman and a self-taught master gardener. He loved trees and flowers, and planted hundreds of trees throughout the city's parks and cemeteries. He enjoyed Saturday walks in many of the Johnny Appleseed Metro Parks. He took great pride in his work at St. John's Cemetery, Teleflex Corporation, Walnut Grove Cemetery and for the City of Delphos Parks and Recreation, particularly Westside Cemetery. His work to beautify Westside Cemetery will be enjoyed by future generations. Mark was at one time a volunteer firefighter. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic, the VFW Post 3035, the American Legion Post 268 and the Eagles Aerie 471, Delphos. Mark was a loyal son, brother, uncle and friend; kind, trustworthy, honest and generous. He had tremendous willpower and courage, facing many challenges in his life and always overcoming them. He always had a smile for everyone and would help anyone who asked. His family held him in the highest esteem for the way he lived his life and they will miss him dearly, as will his many friends. His Farewell Services.... Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 1, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 8:00 p.m.; and one hour before the service on Friday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E.
