DELPHOS – Kenneth Looser Sr., age 87, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 13, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born June 5, 1938 in Delphos to the late Elmer and Jesslyn (Hummer) Looser. On April 18, 1959, he married Virjean ‘Jeanne’ (Dickman) Looser, with whom he shared 66 years of love and built many cherished memories together. She preceded him in death on October 22, 2025.

Kenny is survived by four sons, Kirk (Lisa) Looser, Kenneth ‘K.C.’ (Debra) Looser Jr., Craig (Sheila) Looser, all of Delphos, and Kevin (Leslie) Looser of Lakeview; a daughter, Cynthia Looser of Delphos; in-laws, Ann Johnson, Patti (Phil) Hablitzel, and Helen M. Dickman; nine grandchildren, Dustin (Holly) Looser, Tiffany (Herbert) Pereira, Brad (Kelly) Looser, Kylee (Joe) Harrmann, Drew (Lena Perry) Looser, Lindsey (Shane) Hetrick, Courtney (Andrew Porter) Looser, Logan (Christie) Looser, and Cody (Emily) Looser; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Brooks, Connor, Lillian, Noah, Quinn, Grady, Maryn, Maizee, Avery, Daks, Gabriel, Harper, Alden, Rudy, and Callan.

He was also preceded in death by brothers-in-law John Dickman and Fritz Johnson; his mother and father-in-law, Steve and Helen Dickman; and a great-grandson, Kai Looser.

Kenny served in the United States Marine Corp as a Rifle Range Instructor, stationed in Camp Pendleton, California. He retired from Consolidated Natural Gas, where he was a manager and served on the senior staff. Kenny and Jeanne also owned and operated the Jack and Jill Shop in Delphos. Kenny received the Paul Ricker 1971 Distinguished Service Award (now known as the Man of the Year Award).

He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, a past president of the Lions Club, and a member of VFW Post 3035. Kenny was involved in youth baseball for 25 years, and was a Cub Scout Master. He always enjoyed the family members participating in all sports and school functions. He spent ten years golfing and working at Limberlost Golf Course in Indiana. Kenny especially enjoyed time at their lake cottage with his family and creating lasting memories with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In later year, Kenny and Jeanne enjoyed spending their winters in Florida.

A Memorial Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 19 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery where graveside military rites will be conducted by the Delphos Veterans Council. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 18, at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos with a parish wake service to be held at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
