Joyce Ann Klausing

Joyce Ann Klausing, 83, of Delphos, passed away Thursday morning, November 10, 2022, at The Meadows of Kalida with her family at her side.

Joyce was born September 27, 1939, in Lima, to Leonard and Margaret (Dibling) Eilerman, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by five sons: Don (Mary Kay) Klausing of Delphos, Dave (Sherry) Klausing of Kalida, John (Nancy) Klausing of Delphos, Jeff Klausing of Delphos, Greg (Trisha) Klausing of Kalida; a daughter: Sue (Mark) Gerker of Delphos; 11 grandchildren;  a great granddaughter; two step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren. Joyce is also survived by a sister, Sue Auer of Cincinnati; sister -in-law, Janet Eilerman, of Lima; and a brother-in-law, Jim Schafer of Cincinnati.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Ann Klausing; a granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth Klausing; a brother, Joe Eilerman; four sisters, Barbara (Steve) Gamble, Mary (Gene) Mead, Joan Wright, and her twin, Janet Schafer.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She had been a volunteer for Delphos Visiting Nurses for many years.  Joyce had also worked in the St. John’s cafeteria. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and spending time with her friends.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14 at St. John Catholic Church, Delphos.  Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. Memorial contributions may be made to Right to Life Society of Lima and Allen County, P.O. Box 417, Lima, OH  45802.
