Isabel "Izzie" L. Kramer

Isabel L. "Izzie" Kramer, 82, of Ft. Jennings, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Vancrest Healthcare Center. Her Family.... She was born March 1, 1935 to Oliver and Mary (Smith) Smith, who both preceded her in death. She had been married to Wendell McKee in 1954. On November 14, 1980 she married Ralph Kramer, who preceded her in death on May 28, 2006. She is survived by two daughters, Tina (Paul Krouse) McKee of Ft. Jennings and Marsha (Carl) Gasser of Delphos; five brothers, Donald (Donna) Smith of Lima, Oliver (Marilyn) Smith of Ada, Jack (Bonnie) Smith of Ossian, IN, Tom (Marlene) Smith of Wapakoneta, and John (Deb) Smith of Mendon; five sisters, Shirley Perrin of Ossian, IN, Nancy Rayle of Garrett, IN, Mary Lou (Bob) Saylor of Hicksville, Virginia (Larry) Clark of Lima, and Kathy (Curt) Martin of Elida; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Dan Moravek) Hellman, Gregory (Beth) Hellman, and Christi (Chad) Wiechart; and five great-grandchildren, Kaylei and Jessica Wiechart, and Emma, Reese and Kallie Hellman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Howard James Smith and 2 sisters, Sally Bohn and Carol King. Her Legacy.... Izzie worked for many years in several area nursing homes. She had owned the Knotty Pine in Ft. Jennings for 10+ years in the 70's. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ft. Jennings. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary where she was a bartender for many years. Izzie crocheted afghans for many area people. She loved traveling to Las Vegas to gamble and loved to travel with Ralph and their friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her Farewell Services.... Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where an American Legion Auxiliary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., followed by a Parish Wake Service. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
