Hubert L. Ricker

Hubert L. Ricker, age 94, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at The Meadows of Delphos.

Hubert was born November 30, 1930 in Ft. Jennings to Leo and Alice (Hair) Ricker, who both preceded him in death. He was married to Mary (Stuber) Ricker who passed away June 28, 2017. He was married to Jean Elizabeth Ricker who preceded him in death in 2001. On October 20, 2001 he married Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (Lucke-Wurst) Ricker who preceded him in death February 12, 2022.

Hubert is survived by three sons, Bill (Donna) Ricker of Lancaster, Steve (Dee) Ricker of Mississippi, and Harold (Kelly) Ricker of Paulding; two daughters, Dianne (Jeff) Wiltsie of Delphos, and Nanc (Michael) Fischer of South Carolina; daughter-in-law, Sue Ricker of Delphos; one brother, Henry (Jeanie) Ricker of Delphos; one sister, Leona Bellmann of Delphos; a sister-in-law, Esther Ricker of Florida; ten grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his son David Ricker; brothers, Harry and Lawrence Ricker; sister, Norma Etzkorn; and a brother-in-law, Bernard Bellmann.

Hubert was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired in 1989 from Chrysler. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Delphos VFW and the Eagles Aerie #471. Hubert enjoyed woodworking, and scratch off lottery tickets.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E Fifth Street Delphos. Military honors conducted by the Delphos Veterans Council will follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
