Frankie Lee Stirn

Frankie Lee Stirn, 82, of Delphos, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Vancrest of Delphos. She was born February 9, 1936 in Elida to Lowell and Helen (Gruber) Jenkins, who both preceded her in death. On September 2, 1956 she married Laverne Frank Stirn, who survives in Delphos. She is survived by three sons, Steven L. (Pat Mehren) Stirn of Delphos, Barry (Jane) Stirn of Elida and Brian Stirn of Delphos; a daughter, Kimberly (Jeff) Lackey of Lima; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Miller. Frankie graduated from Delphos Jefferson in 1954 and had attended Bowling Green State University. She had worked at Grants in Delphos, at Huffy Corporation and Eaton Corporation. She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church. She and Frank enjoyed traveling with her sister Sandra and Norm Miller. Frankie enjoyed crocheting afghans and doilies for her family, and playing cards. A celebration of Frankie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos with Rev. Richard J. Lamb officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. a.m. on Saturday, August 18 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
