Elaine Miller

Elaine Miller, 70, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born May 17, 1952 to the late Arnold W. and Dolores M. (Suever) Gasser. On August 20, 1971 she married Kenneth Miller who preceded her in death on May 20, 2003.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Keith) Schimmoeller of Delphos; grandchildren, Logan Schimmoeller and Gavin Schimmoeller both of Delphos; a brother, Don Gasser; and sisters, Deb (Keith) Dukes and Kathy (Charlie) McDonald. Her dog, Maggie Mae, was considered part of her family, as were her past dogs, Cody and Murphy.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Bonifas; a brother, Dennis Gasser and an infant brother, Danny Gasser.

Elaine was a 1970 graduate of Ft. Jennings High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Elaine was the last owner of NuMaude’s Restaurant in Delphos.  She was a caregiver for area residents for many years and had worked at the A&W for the last three years. She enjoyed plants, flowers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and lotto tickets. Above all she loved her time with her grandsons and following all their activities.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ft. Jennings, the Rev. Charles Obinwa, officiating.  Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Delphos.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, with a parish rosary being said at 3:45 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
