Debra Ann Looser, 63, of Delphos, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at her home.

She was born April 28, 1962 in Lima to Bernard and Irma (Dickrede) Schwinnen. Her father preceded her in death on March 21, 1986; her mother survives in Delphos. On October 27, 1984 she married K.C. Looser who survives in Delphos.

She is also survived by her children, Drew (Lena Perry) Looser of Jacksonville, FL, Lindsey (Shane) Hetrick of Dublin, and Logan (Christie) Looser of Delphos; grandchildren, Harper and Alden Hetrick; brothers, Tim (Deanne) Schwinnen, and Dean (Christina) Schwinnen both of Delphos, and Craig (Traci) Schwinnen of Powell; sisters, Lisa Hays of Delphos, and Becky (Tony) Collins of Dublin. She is also survived by her in-laws, Kirk (Lisa) Looser, Craig (Sheila) Looser, and Cynthia Looser, all of Delphos, and Kevin (Leslie) Looser of Lakeview.

She was also preceded in death by her in-laws, Kenny and Jeanne Looser; and nephew and godson, Curtis Schwinnen.

Deb was a 1980 graduate of Delphos St. John’s. She worked at McCoy’s Flowers for 10 years, and babysat for all the nieces and nephews, some of their greatest memories were at Debbie’s house. She was everyone’s favorite Aunt Debbie. She was the cheer coach for the Mohawks for many years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Her strong Catholic faith was a priority in her life.

She was the kind of mother who loved without limits and gave without hesitation. She carried more than most, yet never complained - choosing instead to serve others with compassion, humility and quiet strength. Deb was someone who gave endlessly to others, always putting the needs of her family first and never asking for anything in return. Through every challenge, she met life with grace and resilience, rarely complaining and always offering love instead. She was a light to everyone who knew her, and her positivity radiated in all that she did. She was the very best Gigi, and her greatest joy and accomplishments were her grandchildren, Harper Clare and Alden Charles. Family was everything to Deb – her husband and her children were the center of her world. A true “glass half full” person, Deb lived by the belief that “where there is a will, there is a way”.

A memorial mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s School. Online condolences may be shared at weberfh.net.
