Connie Sue Paddubny

August 22, 1950 — January 3, 2022

Connie Sue Paddubny passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at her residence in Fort Jennings.  She was born on August 22, 1950 to Bertilla “Tillie” (Rahrig) and John D. Buettner; both preceded her in death.  On September 12, 1970, she was united in marriage to Jerry; he survives in Fort Jennings.

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Greg) Cross of Fort Jennings, Stacey (Tom) Bridges of Delphos and Kris Paddubny of Delphos; 11 grandchildren, Tyler, Alex (Tiffany Schnipke), Trevor and Alaina Cross, Morgan (Tony) Jubera, Mallory and Grace Bridges, Ean Boecker and Clayton, Alexis and Rylan Paddubny; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Maverick, Nova Rey, Gianna and Aliyah; and her sister-in-law, Judy Buettner.  She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Gary (JoAnn), Ronald and Dennis Buettner.

Connie graduated from St. John’s and Northwestern Business College.  She was a medical transcriptionist for over 33 years.  Travelling out west with Jerry and their dear friends was one of her passions. She loved to motorcycle, gamble, travel and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Her Silver Sneakers friends at The Peak endearingly referred to her as a member in good standing of “The Dark Side” of the fitness community, for she was frequently chatting and laughing during many fitness activities.  Connie was a warm and giving woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net. Arrangements are entrusted to Weber Funeral Home, Delphos.
