Charles E. Hullinger

Charles ‘Chuck' Hullinger, 79, of Delphos, passed away Saturday evening, July 1, at his home surrounded by his loving family. His Family.... He was born June 20, 1938 in Lima to Edwin C. and Helen Irene (Custer) Hullinger who both preceded him in death. On July 26, 1968 he married Linda (Sheets) Hullinger who survives in Delphos.. He is also survived by two sons, Stephen (Judy Fisher) Hullinger of Delphos and Gary (Teresa) Hullinger of Easley, South Carolina; four daughters, Alicia ‘Missi' (Bob) Miller of Delphos, Michelle (Jerry) Hawk of Whitehouse, Tennessee, Wanda Hullinger of Pandora and Tonjia (Jim) Denney of Lawrence, Indiana; two brothers, Don Hullinger and Larry (Cheryl) Hullinger, both of Lima; twelve grandchildren, Kristen (Ryan) Dunahay, Leah (Dan) Butler, Matt (Aleesha Helm) Miller, April (Zac Elwer) Hullinger, Amanda Hullinger, Tori Hawk, Heather (Josh) Davis, Kortney (Mark) Hutchison, Windi Warren, Justin Hullinger, Joe (Alex) Denney, Lyndsey Denney; and nine great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Denzel Earehart and a sister-in-law, Pam Hullinger. His Legacy.... Chuck was a graduate of Lima Senior. He retired in 2000 from Otis Wright Trucking. He was a Superwash attendant in Delphos for 15 years. Chuck was an avid OSU, Cleveland Browns, NASCAR and Notre Dame fan. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 471. He enjoyed sitting on his porch and visiting with passers-by. His Farewell Services.... A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5 and an hour before the service on Thursday at Weber Funeral Home.
